Petit village sur le bord de la mer. On y compte un grand port, un centre ville où l´on peut trouver tout le nécessaire mais il n´y a aucun intérêt particulier. Sur l´une des plages se trouve un tunnel qui a servi durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. Il y a également quelques restaurants. C´est parfait pour rester quelques jours au soleil et visiter Broadstairs et Margate qui ne sont pas très loin par le train ou en marchant.
It is a small village close to the sea. It has a big harbour, a town center where one can find all utilities but there is no particular point of interest. In one of the beaches, one can visit a tunnel that was used during the Second World War. There are also a few restaurants. It is fine to spend a few days at the sun and visit Broadstairs and Margate that are not too far away by train or walking.
Es un pequeño pueblo cerca del mar. Consta de un largo puerto, un centro de ciudad donde se puede encontrar lo útil pero no cabe interés en particular. En una de las playas, se puede visitar un túnel que sirvió de protección durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. También hay varios restaurantes. Está bien para pasar un par de días al sol y visitar Broadstairs y Margate que no son muy lejos por el tren o caminando.
